The windscreen wipers are not great. I have found that they work fine in one direction but scoot over the water on the return stroke. Not surprising, they certainly look rather flimsy.

As I am planning a trip to Ireland to drive some of the Wild Atlantic Way, I was thinking I had better sort this because it is bound to rain at some point. I found someone in Ebay selling what was essentially the wipers that are made for Morgans. They look much more robust and so I shelled out the £20 for a pair and have just fitted them.

They are not quite a direct replacement as they have a slightly offset pivot and are not quite as long. However, they work much better and I am happy to accept a not-wiped area at the bottom of the screen for this improved view through the important central part of the windscreen.

A long drive through ‘Storm Antoni’ show that they work well.
