Overall it took me 123 hours spread over twenty nine days, starting in Mid Jan. In some cases, there were enforced holds to the process when I was waiting on things to come from Caterham (and there were certainly days when it was too bloody cold to spend time in an unheated garage).

I wanted to be reasonably confident about being finished before the IVA so had left a chunk of time between finishing the build and the IVA, allowing for the post-build check to take place and a bit of ‘float’ in case of unexpected issues.

The other time constraint in terms of finally getting on the road was the registration process that took around 5 weeks. That’s pretty frustrating having this wonderful car just sitting there but not being allowed out.
